Crawshawbooth

Civic pride volunteers have been working in Crawshawbooth for around 6 years.

Local   ‘secret gardeners’ and litter pickers maintain and tidy Jubilee Gardens and  planters around the Crawshawbooth area.

They liaise with, and are helped by, the Civic Pride Garden’s Officer and team from Rawtenstall who come ‘en masse’ when there is heavier work to do.

Local scout groups have also been to help with planting, weeding and tidying.

There isn’t a set session, although the volunteers do meet regularly and enjoy working together or alone. (More volunteers are always needed.)

For dates and times of the working parties please view our Weekly Whereabouts for the latest information.
