It is a long tradition to provide flowers when we say goodbye to a loved one. It’s a way of expressing our respect and grief for those we have lost. Regrettably, whilst our emotions may last forever, the flowers soon fade and die.
There is an alternative.
Civic Pride Rossendale have…
- created a corridor of colour along St Mary’s Way, Rawtenstall
- restored Trickett’s Memorial Ground to its former glory
- regenerated many other smaller gardens around the valley
Maintaining gardens to this standard is expensive, even with no paid staff. That’s right, we’re all volunteers.
By instructing the funeral directors to pass donations to us, you’ll be helping to maintain over 20 beautiful gardens across the valley for the enjoyment of others.
This is a more permanent memoriam to those who are no longer with us but who no doubt appreciated and enjoyed the gardens when they were alive.
Alternatively, you can donate directly by using one of the methods below. However you do it, you’ll be reminded every time you see a flower in one of our gardens that you helped achieve that beautiful display, in memory of your loved one.
Thank you for your support.
