The Garden of Vice (Chair)

It may be hard to believe but this garden has been developed and loved for 20 years, yet regularly trampled by children and pets.  It’s been blown over by the valley winds and beaten by the rain.

Planted and pruned, weeded and watered, the heavy clay soil has been cursed, then mulched.  It’s been self seeded, propagated, divided and coaxed.

Blurred around the edges by nature, it’s been adopted by birds and insects, a respite for hedgehogs and toads.

An escape for this gardener.
