Civic Pride Rossendale are organising their annual litter picking event around Rawtenstall Town Centre on New Years day. Everyone is invited to join their regular litterpicking volunteers to tidy up the centre of town after the New Years Eve celebrations. They are asking people to join them from 10.30am – 12.30 on the 1st January, meeting at the car park by the Post office in the centre of Rawtenstall . They can provide the equipment for adults and children. So come and join in the fun and help us make Rawtenstall look clean and tidy for 2026
