Topiary Garden

This garden is an extension of the huge garden outside St Mary’s Chambers which was funded by a local supermarket. Originally planted by the council it had become overgrown, careworn and tatty.

Before

In common with so many of our gardens, we wanted to keep the area tidy, colourful and easy to manage! A long term volunteer offered to look after it but her ideas weren’t normal –  she fancied a bit of topiary!

With lots of hard work, determination and persistence, she’s meeting the challenges head on in true CPR style!

We plan to continue to keep the area weeded, under control and filled with colour using perennial plants.

We also want to develop and maintain a reasonably trouble free garden with year round colour. We’re allowed to dream!
