My back yard is my garden room and has numerous pots in which plants which enjoy sheltered sun and shade, thrive. Acers surrounded by hostas and ferns, along with a good few statues.
The back garden is set on a steep slope and ascends through terraces. There are always jobs to do and this year, locked down up in my garden I decided to replace my vegetable beds and install raised beds. Above the vegetable garden, which has a small pond, are the apple trees.
Beyond that, two woodland gardens; the first glittering with dozens of fritillaries, primroses, forget-me-nots and winter aconites.
Through the gate and beyond, is a larger woodland garden with swathes of daffodil varieties and bluebells.
It is not a well weeded or neat garden but it might end up as one at this rate!
