My garden is small but has felt like a real oasis these past few weeks, it certainly has never been tidier!
I can always find some jobs to do to keep me busy and give me a sense of satisfaction when finished. I’ve just moved bulbs out of pots to make way to plant seeds for butterfly and bee flowers for the summer. I’m really looking forward to seeing them grow.
Our dogs love it too, chasing round, hiding toys and sleeping in shady spots (are you sure that’s only the dogs? Ed.)
Our simple rocking bench has been a star, we’ve had it years and it will collapse soon but its great to just step into the garden and sit watching our wild birds eating with a cup of tea or the odd gin and tonic – us not the birds!
