I planted the rose & honeysuckle 20 years ago on the east-facing wall, & they’ve grown round until they’re facing west, which they clearly prefer. The compost bin has been there for several years, since I stopped running a car & really thought about avoiding the need to buy compost to replenish the beds. If I just need a bit of compost, I slide out one of the bricks near the base.
